Deluxe Electric Mistress

Post by CrazyNinja8730 » Thu Jan 20, 2011 8:17 pm

I don't mean to go post-crazy, but this is really bothering me. My old Deluxe Electric Mistress doesn't seem to have a working range knob...

I opened it up, and it all looks fine.
I looked for mods some jack-wagon might have done, and haven't found any.
I checked the 100k pot, and it works fine.
I checked the board against other boards, and they look the same.
For some reason, most schematics don't match any boards I've looked at.

PLEASE HELP!
I will be eternally indepted to you. :worthy:

does it match this one?
http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/dia ... mistsc.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

filter matrix switch working? what does it sound like when you move the control? any noise at all? no noises would make me suspect a bad ground somewhere near the range control like the switch, the ground connections for the pot, C15 on the posted schem, as well as R41, R33, C16.

one thing you can do without desoldering anything is run through these connections with a multimeter to make sure they at least have continuity between each other. then you can start pulling things off to test them.

It's really close... but it doesn't seem to fit. I'll try to find the differences.

Well... after giving up for a while...

The flanger is apparently one of the analog re-issues. It has an on-board transformer and a chord. If it helps, on the back of the board it says "EC1000 REV - B"

Any new ideas?
