Just purchased one of these babies which are modeled after the Sola Sound ToneBender MKII pedal as used by Jimmy Page during the Led Zeppelin I album. This pedal is a very accurate representation of that pedal, and what's so cool about the pedal is that it cleans up very nicely with your guitar's volume control much like a good overdrive pedal. SkinPimp advertises this pedal to be of medium gain, but I believe it can surpass that description. The Skin Bender MKII has great sustain and is very smooth. Never having been a Fuzz Pedal afficionado but more of an overdrive type of guy, I was quite surprised by how smooth it can get, and by how nicely the pedal cleans up. Some guys have multitudes of fuzz pedals however, I deeply research before I buy pedals so there won't be any second guessing, only pedals that work well for me and my applications. Along with my FoxRox Captain Coconut FuzzFoot, this will be the only Fuzz pedal I will ever need (fortunately!)
