I just got a blue 6 band from the 80s. It makes ocean noises when I play certain things. It sounds like the ocean after the chord fades out. Does this mean a cap. is bad? Anyone know? I am using a 9 volt battery.
Just bought the pedal and i need help trouble shooting it so any pointers would be fantastic!

I have several...they are just noisy and amplify any existing noise in your rig.

The noise floor shouldn't fluctuate like the sound of an ocean wave or a Doppler effect. I know mine acts up when the battery is running low. Have you tried a fresh battery?
