Radial Headbone VT and Fryette Power Station

Post by mdc1 » Sat Sep 19, 2015 9:20 pm

Hi,

Interested if anyone has tried this and can comment on whether it works without damaging things. What I would like to do is have two two amp heads go into the Radial and then into the Fryette and one 4x12 cabinet. Do I need to insure one or the other amp head is in standby before doing any switching on the Radial?

Will amp head effects loop work properly , or do those need to go exclusively through the Fryette to avoid spill back into the Radial? I kind of wonder if all effects, up front pedal board could just go on the Fryette as post distortion effects, not sure amp in front stuff (wah, vibe, fuzz, etc.

Isn't the Radial designed to use two heads? I would think it shouldn't matter what is after the Radial in terms of 4x12 and Fryette. I would specifically ask Fryette and Radial prior to trying. It might be difficult to control volume if the amps are drastically different from one another.
