Effects plugged into Amp output

Post by Robocop101985 » Sat Feb 13, 2016 2:39 pm

Guys,

Was rushing around trying to mess with my phaser. I went to plug it in the FX loop and ended up plugging into my Amp output instead of the return in the loop by mistake. Trying to see if I damaged my effect at all. I immediately put my amp in stand by when I didn't hear any sound coming out and realized what I've done. Haven't played it in awhile and it was placed in a new position in the chain so I can't recall out it sounded before. Do you guys think in that short amount of time I did any damage to my pedal? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If it's working and phasing as it should you're likely ok. Who knows...if it sounds better now you may have stumbled upon something great. :)
