NEC 6L6 ?

I just bought a ´68 Bandmaster Reverb. It needs a little care, new caps, DeBS the Bias circuit.

But: It came with NOS Phillips, Valvo and Brimar preamp tubes.

But the 6L6´s are NEC´s. They look "right", and the amp sounds good. It does´nt say "Made in Japan" anywhere on them, no codes, but they must be Japanese ? I´ve searched here and on the web, but no luck.

Can anyone tell me anything about them ?
