NOS Siemen, GE FAt Boy, Winged C Cryo SED, JJ

Some NOS Siemens arrived yesterday.
I like em, but not as much as my Cyrovalves and GE Fatboys
They're kinda like a JJ with better clean, and Tighter.
A little too tight, when on single coils, but at least they're not grainy and you can adjust the Volume Knob to get to the single coil sweet spot.
They were well matched, and
didn't drift.
I rank my Cryo Valve SED Winged C El 34, and GE 6ca7 FAt Boy
above them (just barely because of the Clean is a hair better)
Eventually I will try some double Halo XF2s, and Sylvannia 6CA7 fat boys.
I think I'm gonna just use the Cryo Valves in my builds from now on.
I bought them by accident, on reccomendation. I liked them, but I didn't know if they were good becasue I had nothing to compare them to.
Now that I've had a chance to try the competition, I will just trust my ears in the future.
It's a good thing I didn't see the advertising for the Cryo Valves before I bought them. I would have thought it was slick marketing and never bought them.
ANother thing on the NOS Siemen, they smooth out as they break in right? If they do, they will be my favorite.
If I had to Rank the Output tubes I've tried:
Score out based on 10
9.8 Cryo Valve Winged C SED- Suprisingly Similiar to GE FAt Boys
Great all around tube, incredible Matching
9.7 GE Fat Boys 6CA7 -Great, but Hard to find a Matched Quad
9.6 NOS Siemens EL 34 - Still Breaking in, ranking subject to change, well matched
7.5 JJ EL 34 ( <---Don't like em, to harsh and Grainy with Single coils IMHO, but sound great with Humbuckers)
I switch between single coil and humbuckers a lot.
