Storing tubes

Post by rgorke » Thu Aug 12, 2010 10:07 pm

What is the best way to store tubes? Mainly 12AX7s. I don't have little boxes for them all. Should they all have their own individual box?

Maybe a dumb question?

Look for a plastic storage box at Home Depot that has dividers. You could also make one out of cardboard strips and a box. I have boxes for most of my tubes and use tissue paper to wrap the loose ones. Some prescription med bottles work well too.

You can find suitable boxes in bulk cheap on ebay. I daresay a lot of tube dealers will do them too.
