mullard brite flash on power up

i just got a mullard ecc83 branded rca from a reputble tube co
and we i hit the powerswitch there is a brite orange flash
comeing from the bottom of the tube is this bad :?:

is sounds very good but it didnt knock my socks off and i am
wondering if the flash means bad tube :?:

no it's normal some tubes do this some don't.

Brand-new, authentic NOS BVA Mullards ALL do this for a while 'til they're broken in a bit. Perfectly normal for these outstanding toobs.

this is my first plunge into nos and i was hopeing
i didnt have a prob. the amp sounded better the 2nd
day. now to get more for v2 n v3

I have a Zenith branded amperex made in holland that flashes at startup. It's not new but sounds great. very mellow in my setup. I would like to find more but haven't.
