Hmm, not without some more info. Like where it's actually made for instance. One would assume Canada from the spiel, but it doesn't actually state anything really.

Does the lettering change from Northern Electric to Nortel shortly before they crap out?

They're made in China (I assume), according to NE's specs.

All of the design and production is overseen by a living legend in tube design, Zhe Shen Liu.

Hmm, a legend for designing WHAT exactly, I wonder...
Anything we've actually heard of perhaps...

we need to get into the business of labeling..seems that makes the tube!
