Post by marcelblade » Mon Dec 05, 2011 10:19 am

Hi all, this is my first post on this forum
I want to replace the power tubes on my 9100, this would be my first time doing this,, watched alot of instr vids on youtube so i'm somewath prepared for it,
does someone have experience biassing the 9100 series? and willing to provide me with a litle " how to"
what is the bias setting for the 6l6 tubes in a 9100??
i,ve already located the 4 trim pots on the two inner pots Balance the two outer Bias, i now like to know where the controle point is.
or is it recomendeble to get a bias probe for easy messuring??

thanks in advance
grts Marcel

There is no "bias setting"
You adjust the thing to minimize distortion, using an O scope. That's it.
For every different set of tubes there will be another bias setting. The 9100 is no different than any other tube amp.
