I'm scrounging around the house here for parts for a new JTM 45 build and I came across this in one of my old stereo slave amp clones that I bought way back in the 70's.
It had 5AR4/GZ34 and Britain in white letters near the top getter. The date code is a Q over a T with a C or O beside it if that helps any.
Any chance it could have been made by Mullard?
The other channel had what looks to be a GE version of the identical tube also made in Britain.
The Sylvania is marked f32 B9A4, and the GE just has B0C4 etched near the bottom.

The B should mean Blackburn, as in Mullard, if it indeed is a British made tube. It's just a guess since I'm not very much into GZ tubes, I cannot imagine any other British manufacturer. A very good source for comparisons is tubemonger's tube libraries, check them out!

Thanks for the info!
It looks like they're the 7 notch Mullards.
Hopefully those are the ones that hold up well in the 45's.
