Hello all,

A friend of mine got 2 EL34 that he claims to be mullard.
One is XF2 B3E1 and other XF3 B5C5.

Thanks

Thanks Larry.
Just one more question.
Can I use them non-matched?

Of corse it's no danger for the amp, but I wouldn't recommend this, because they are different tube types.

The Xf2 with welded plates is smoother sounding.
The Xf3 with crimped plates is presumably stronger in parameters and tone.
