EH 6CA7 - where to buy online?

Hello everyone,

I want to try a quad of EH 6CA7's. Wondering which online vendors you guys like these days. I'm in the US, Southern California. Or if someone knows somewhere local to me, just as good.

I've had really good luck with Tube Depot. Fast shipping regardless of how large or small the order.

I've had great luck with Dougs Tubes with the EH6ca7. He burns them in so you will be less likely to get a DOA tube and they tend to be be more stable bias wise after installation.

+1 for TubeDepot. Great and quick service. The only quad I've from them is not well matched though, like 5mA between the strongest and weakest tubes. It could be the bias probe resistors drifting.

It looks like tube depot only has matched pairs, unless I am missing something.

I also saw "Cryo treated" tubes. Is this just snake oil? Or has someone tried these?

I just put some in my 74 superlead I really like them but I dont know if theyre really any better then non cryo treated.
