I guess, that you've placed your bid on eBay. Right?

Well that is not bad, considering NOS KT66 can easily go for $150-$200/each for GEC (Marconi's...), not sure about GE but they must be great also....!!!

Yeah, that does seem to be the going rate and from what I hear its a superb tube in a Fender.

For $175 they better be!

I bought them for the JTM 45 kit I just pulled the trigger on from George.

If they're not right for that amp I'll just list em on eBay and resell them.....

Is the price OK?

Anybody run these tubes in a JTM clone?

I've been SCOURING eBay and other places on the net. Only to discover that the tube market is saturated with people who aren't very nice to a newbie who's trying to learn.

That's all I'm trying to do guy's is learn about amps and how to make them sound great.

So if you've got anything constructive to add, bring it!

:D

Next time you want NOS tubes try Terry Kilgore aka Tubetramp at plexi palace (you can PM him there....), you'll be able to get those GEC or Gold Lions at a very good price, and make sure they are working (matched, etc....)
