Well that is not bad, considering NOS KT66 can easily go for $150-$200/each for GEC (Marconi's...), not sure about GE but they must be great also....!!!JD wrote:$heesh, $175 for a pair of vacuum tubes...
Man I think you'll do just great with those tubes, they rock, price is goodbvmjethead wrote:I bought them for the JTM 45 kit I just pulled the trigger on from George.
If they're not right for that amp I'll just list em on eBay and resell them.....
Is the price OK?
Anybody run these tubes in a JTM clone?

Next time you want NOS tubes try Terry Kilgore aka Tubetramp at plexi palace (you can PM him there....), you'll be able to get those GEC or Gold Lions at a very good price, and make sure they are working (matched, etc....)bvmjethead wrote:5150loveeddie wrote:Man I think you'll do just great with those tubes, they rock, price is goodbvmjethead wrote:I bought them for the JTM 45 kit I just pulled the trigger on from George.

Thanks 5150! I'm still looking for some really killer ones like the Gold Lions....not that I'll be able to hear the difference, but I'll be able to say I got the coolness in my amp...
