My Messed up Speaker

Post by rgorke » Thu Jan 05, 2012 2:07 pm

I sent this speaker to Jim for reconing. Here is what my speaker looked like. The white is a "repair" job of a torn cone. This began its life as a Greenback with Pulsonic "3" cone. It is now a Scumback 65W Blackback in transit to my crib. This just proves to me that there can be descrepancies between all sorts of gear. Even Jim went through 400 pre-Rolas to find the best.

Last picture.

Believe it or not, I was using this speaker up until the time I sent it to Jim.

What the hell happened to that think. Looks like someone's Jack Russell terrier got after it.

So you had Jim turn it into a 65 watt Black Back?
Cheers to the ears.
