Casters for 1960 bv cab

Post by herbvis » Fri Nov 30, 2012 12:10 pm

Just got a Marshall 1960 bv on craigslist for a great deal. It has no casters and has the cheap plastic sockets. Does anyone have any advice on adding some inexpensive Heavy duty wheels on this bad boy?

What's a bv?

If your looking for some inexpensive wheels, try Home Depot. I was there yesterday, and they have a pretty big range of wheels that look like they would work. I'm not sure if they have removable or not but they had some heavy duty stuff.

+1 on the inexpensive casters at the Home Improvement/Hardware stores

I use only the more expensive MESA/Boogie Track-Loc re-moveables.
2 small pilot holes, 1 Lag Bolt, and 1 Flathead Phillips #3 screw for each.
Ease of use & Heavy Duty.

I like having the cab on the floor. One can make up the difference in Bass when your backing off on the Bass knob
Kinda' like the 300 pound theory...
