From what I saw, he normally uses veneered particle board for cabinets these days, but he had the BB ply there in about 2 days.

PM sent with prices.

Cool thread. Anyways, 5/8 Baltic birch or Russian birch is expensive. I can get it for about 55 per 5x5 sheet. It's high quality, uses better glue and has few or no voids within the sheet-not like your big box store plywood. 5/8 should give excellent tone and be much lighter than 3/4/. The best way to attach side to top and bottom would be either box or dovetail joints using a jig. Something similar to a Keller jig with a router. I would not suggest using drywall screws. Instead go to McFeelys and get some cabinet screws and some trim washers for attaching the backs and then to Reliable hardware company for the handles, jacks and what not. Titebond should be all you need for glue. If you have a tablesaw, great! Get a helper to grab the wood as it comes off the back of the saw-safety first. If not, you could do it with a circular saw, straightedge and a couple saw horses. to make the speaker holes, use a plunge router with a circle cutting jig. If your good at it, you could probably make some money at it.

As in the link is no good, or is your country blocking the use of rapidshare? PM me with your e-mail addr and I'll send you the file. In addition, I'll look into imageshack also.

:D :D This is an awesome set of plans....Thanks for doing this is really makes things easy. Now I just need to work out the corner joints. I assume you would build a jig for that? I am new to woodworking, but making progress, and picking up the right tools as I go. :D :D
