I'm going to be producing some new clips for the latest Scumback speakers along with WCR Pickups in about a month. We'll be doing the recording sessions in early March, and should have them ready to listen to by April 15th if all goes well.

Amps used will be a Vox AC30, Metro 50w/100w heads I built, and some other Marshall (JCM800 type) clones.

I'll update this thread when the clips are done. Suggestions for clips are welcome, just email me please. I hate the PM window!

Sounds good

I was really impressed by the improvement in my Tokai LP with a set of 550k CTS pots, Jensen PIO caps and vintage style wiring. Although I used a BB3 in the bridge and BK Mule in the neck.

Main improvement was the control and clarity of tone with the pots cap change IMO, I am sure you will be able to demonstrate that with your demos for speakers and WCRs.

I hate to use the term "epic", but I've heard the first two of the clips that are coming out later this week.

There will be...gulp...535 clips.

That's a shitload of clips by anyone's standards...I think.

I'll post some teasers as they show up with the mixes leveled & finished.

There are so many clips that I'm going to break it up by speaker model, and put a link from the main "Clips" page to each speaker's sub page of clips.

Pfft. I'm not playing much on the clips. I hired someone else to do most of the playing cuz I am 1/100th the guitarist I used to be, and he's 20 times the player I was in my heyday.

So there won't be any worries about that!

Here's one of the new tracks...the following gear was used. It's got a little too much bass and kick drum, and the final master will be done tomorrow, but I promised you a teaser...so here you go. It cooks a little.

Guitar: SG Special w/WCR Guitar G90 pickups (bridge)
Amp: Splawn Nitro w/FJA mods
Speaker: J75 65w, small dust cap

It's not Pete in these clips.

I'm sure to go blind from sorting, naming, and writing the HTML code for 535 clips, though. Ugh...my web guy is going to charge me a small fortune for adding them, too, I'm sure.
