Does anybody know where I could get a white "100" corner logo for a cab?

You would have to buy a gold one and clean the paint off with some acetone or something. Marshall have never made white ones to my knowledge.

I have one. It is an American made copy of an original gold one. The front surface has a bit of texture when you're really close to it. Make me an offer I can't refuse and I might sell it. PM me.

I see. Did they ever put them on salt and pepper basket weave with white Marshall logo from the early 70's?

they just continued to use the gold logos on white logo cabs. have a look at roger glovers cabs here (on bass).

deep purple are a good band to look for on youtube for old marshall gear. blackmore used the 100 logo cabs sometimes too.

Ritchie Blackmore as has been noted used cabs in the later seventies with the 100 watt logo in the top left corner.
This practice started in the 1966 pinstripe era and continued through 1969 on the 1982A & B cabinets denoting the H magnets the 30 watt speakers.
You never see these logos later on the checker board cabs.

What they explained to me at Jim Marshall's original store is the 100 logo denoted that there were 30 watt H style speakers in the cab giving a total wattage of 120.
This made the cab safe to use singly with a 100 watt head. That was the reason for the 100 logo.

No, when Marshall first made the 100 logo cabs in 1966, G12H speakers were only rated at 25 watts. 4 x 25 = 100. More specifically the T1281 model that Marshall was using.

Celestion only changed the labels to 30w in 1968, but Marshall still kept the 100 logo.
