I was spec'd with Valve Arts in my JTM-45 kit, but it came with Ruby Tubes. I had and liked the Valuve Arts in my last build.
Can anyone tell me if they've compared the two and what they think of the Ruby's?
Both built by Shuang if I'm not mistaken, but are they essentially the same (quality/tonal) tube?
Ruby KT-66 tubes as good as Valve Arts?

Re: Ruby KT-66 tubes as good as Valve Arts?
Well, now that I've built my second JTM-45 (this one with the Rubys), I can say perhaps prematurely, that I can't tell any difference between the two tonewise. It is possible I could discern that the Valve Arts I had at least sounded a bit smoother, but this could be attributed to that fact that the tubes only have an hour or two of power through them at this point. That could quite conceivably even things up after 20-30 hours of playing.
