Just finished my first build.
Very satisfying experience.
Biased and plugged in and the out put volume is very low and distorted.
I'm guessing about 1/3 what it should be.
Where do i start looking for bugs?

Most likely the 470 ohm resistor between the two 1 megs going to V3. Like a lot of people, you most likely put in a 470K.

I'll take a look at that little bugger later on tonight.
I did a search of the forum last night and came across that as a common mistake, but most described noise and hums as symptoms so i passed that by...
