standby switch and V4/V5's Pin 5 voltage readings

Post by Elad E » Mon Aug 19, 2013 4:50 am

hey,

going through the 4th step of the testing I installed the Rectifier tube, powered it up and let it warm for about 2 minutes.
checking the voltage on the STDBY switch I get a 730V reading!
pin 5 on V4 and V5 has no voltage at all.

any idea what could be wrong?

I'll upload pics shortly.

my bad - turned out I was still using the VAC setting instead of the DC setting.

voltage on pin 5 of both V4 and V5 is exactly 45v DC, voltage on the STBY switch is around 340V.
