Scratchy middle pot?

Been a while since I've been around but playing a bit more these days. Noticed the middle pot on my jtm45 build is a bit scratchy when turned, but only when playing at the same time. If not playing, no noise. Sounds different from the scratchy presence syndrome. Any thoughts?

And here's a newb question. How can I check for dc voltage on the pot?

Have you cleaned said pot? A good spray, working it back and forth usually works. Otherwise dump it and replace.
