Bias pot clockwise = ?

I've got my JTM 45 ready to go but don't get my multi until Monday. I want to set it up cold just to make sure I don't cook my tubes

What direction do you turn the bias pot to increase the neg voltage to the grids?

If its wired 'normaly' youd turn it towards the pot side of the chassis for the largest bias voltage (= the lowest/coldest plate current).
