My first amp build ever was a modified reissue JTM45 for LegendaryTones.com. Anyhow, years ago I had built another JTM45 - this one I housed in a Mojotone 18w combo 1x12. I have a Scumback M75 in there. I recently got a 50w 1986 Bass head going and the amp bug bit me again. I pulled my JTM45 out of the garage as I remember I was in the process of tweaking some things before I stopped playing. I reviewed the circuit and noticed I had experimented with .0022 coupling cap and .0047. I put back in the .022 couplers and reduced the 1st stage cathode cap to 10uf. I also noticed at some point I put in 47K negative feedback resistor off the 8ohm tap. The amp is just glorious. I am glad I went back to the circuit to fix it.

Re: JTM45 Revisited
Cool to see you nailed it. Sometimes the right changes are often very simple.
