Offset clone almost done

Almost a couple resistors and a couple of bias pots and it is ready for testing.

Damn that looks good! 8)
Did you *tweak* a Metro chassis to fit the offset cab?

Veeery nice! I see you did soome tweaks next to the bias circuitry, what's it for? To be able to switch impedance on the OT?

Thanks everyone. You know the story of the RS it is a modded Marstran unit not hard to do. The .018 are from a board member here I think he still has some for sale check the classified section. The rest of the Mustards I bought here and there a over the last few years. It is going to have dual bias set up. Not the totally separate one that is excellent and has been posted here before but one that also works but does have a little interaction. I had Brian Wallace install this on my BB breaker clone so that I could run old GEC KT66 tubes and not have to sweat a mismatch. I got a full set of Mullards for preamp and rectifier and a pair of GEC for the power tubes.

I bought most all the other stuff from Metro. Nice having one stop shopping. Make a list and have them send it ready to go. I also used the excellent instructions from Metro. With only few exceptions they were all I needed. When you change transformers you of course loose color coded wires so I alway seem to cause myself more work.

Very cool...

Here's a nice solution for selectable impedance on an RS:

Probably not for those who are concerned about having an historically correct build, but a really solid way to have switchable impedance.

They are both Marstran transformers. The power transformer was used as it comes. I modded the output transformer. See transformer section http://forum.metroamp.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=21103
