hi just finished my jtm 45 build and started testing'well everything was good up to v3 which had way out of wack voltages like 387dc on pin1 and 6 and under 10v on3 and 8 checked forum and someone mentioned 470 rersistor should be ohms switched out 470k and put the 470 ohm in and now preamp tubes aren't glowing and im getting mid 400's v at standby switch don't really know where to start other than very beginning so any input would be greatly appreciated been working on this all day and was hoping for no snarls but it is what it is thanks for taking your time to read this scott

No problem. The 470 ohm resistor mistake is a very common one. So common that the instructions should flag that with a note to triple check it.

Lots of eager Sherlock Ohms here ready to assist. Some closeup pictures of your amp chassis will help verify your build. Not sure why the heater voltages disappeared when you exchanged the resistor.

In the meantime go back to the start of the assembly instructions and verify every step.
