Hey guys,
I have a JTM45 kit that I bought from a fellow forumite. I think the amp sounds pretty good, but I have played a friends Weber JTM45 and it had more mojo than mine. After nerding out with him and checking and comparing voltages between the amps, my amp is suffering from the lack of B+ voltage on the plates. (390v) I know this is a common complaint with Metro45's.
Mine is running KT66's and it just needs a little more "oomph" and a touch more headroom.
What PT's are a direct drop in replacement to the metro kit and what is the price breakdown?
What PT's could be another option, but require some chassis magic?
I have seen the various brands suggested in other threads so I have used the search function, but was curious as to which one's are direct replacements and/or are recommended for higher B+
Thanks
Time for a new PT with higher B+ ::Recomendations Please::

I'd probably go with Marstran's for higher B+
should'n't need to be any chassis massage.
Some have used the classictone as well? I'm using they're 5e3 tranny, seems good.
