I have a JTM 45 that I built before the kits came out using mostly
Metro Amp stuff back in Jan 2005.
I just changed the opt to the 784-139 and put el34's in it.
It has the 16/16 uf cap on the pre amp.
Should I change it to a 32/32??

Not a lot of difference IMO. In fact my early original one has a single 32uF and no extra 10k dropper

Thanks Neil!
You have always been very helpful on here.
I just changed it from a JTM50 to a 68 era lead amp and it sounds great.
Did the split cathode, lead tone stack .022's in the phase inverter section.
Even after 8 years these Velvet George amps still blow me away.
And you get to play amp god and set em up the way u want to.
