.022uF cap on Presence pot?

I just popped my Bluesbreaker open to try and track down a new problem that sounds like a cold solder joint somewhere or maybe voltage going somewhere it shouldn't (crackling/popping while the amp is on) and I noticed for that for some reason I used a .022uF sozo on my presence pot. I must've done it by mistake, as .1uF is definitely what is listed on the schematic. I don't know why I never caught this before, it's funny how you just notice things out of the blue sometimes.
Anyway, I'm going to put in an order for a few parts from George and will get a .1uF to replace it with. Can anyone tell my what sort of difference this will make tone wise, or to the feel of the amp?
thanks,
Eamon

I need a .1 sozo for my presence to replace the stock marshall rectangular unit if you could order an extra that would be cool. I live Shoreline and work all over the Seattle area, I could meet you pretty much anywhere.

Yeah, no problem, I put the order in for two .1uf Sozos. I work in the University District, so it would be easy to meet up on my luch or after work. I'll message you when the order comes in.

Thanks, I appreciate that. What are you using for your brightness cap? I think thats the last thing I'm going to mess with(for now).

I have the 100pf bright cap that was stock on mine. Seems ok to me, but then I rarely use the bright channel alone unless I am playing humbuckers (I'm mainly a single coil guy). I usually either just play the normal channel or both channels bridged with a jumper cable.

I'll have to see if I can read the value on mine, it's a very tiny blue one. My brother works at the U also.

i THINK you will have a cleaner sounding presence with that smaller cap. maybe not getting the grind with the 0.1 cap.
