Can you jumper the JTM both ways?

Right now I'm plugged into hi 1 and the channels are jumpered from low 1 to hi 2.

I'm speaking of plugging into low 1 and jumpering from hi 1 to low 2.....

Can't imagine why it would hurt......

It won't hurt.

Your ears maybe if you don't like the sound

But it won't hurt the amp.

I've been messing around with a Rickenbacker 4003 bass with my JTM45 head (germino build), and I go into a low input and bridge. I run this into a Sequis Motherload (best DI solution on the planet), warm up a little with a Studio Projects tube pre, one of the BEST bass sounds ever, so yes, you can definitely bridge both ways. If I remember, Clapton used to sometimes go into Normal instead of Bright anyways. Don't think its a great sound for guitar, but you can get some great bass tones. Maybe not enough volume to gig with, but again, a KILLER silent recorded sound.
