stan? 67 12 series? you must mean late 67 or early 68 - tell us the spec yer using in the amp.
and then elaborate what are you comparting to speaker wise and what are the differences you hear between them

im using the same specs that masterkeepers amp is except i have the negative feedback wire on the 8 ohm tap and i dont have any bright cap on the volume pot.my clone amp has an original dagnall selflead output tranny from late 60s and original mustard caps.i have the celestion heritage g12m greenbacks and my tom holmes 455 in a mahogany body.going to try it in my ash body tomorrow.im trying to find my mic for recording, just not sure where its packed at!!the heritage greenbacks and the holmes 455 are the 2 best buys i have bought in a long time!

Most people arent very specific about Marshalls. God knows Marshall wasnt. Theres 69 and later amps (aka 6 chassis mount filter can amps), theres the JTM-100s, then theres all that stuff in between.

What is his filtering? I assumed it was 50-Sg, 100-PI, 50/50-preamp considering the board values.
