I got on ebay a few yrs ago..I thought it was a "new" one... It was made in 1978,suprise!! any way I have a bass that I found in a trash can at the beach,looks like a copy of a Jazz bass made in the mid 1960's..Never thought it sounded that good the pickup is weak...I started useing the EQ with the lows turned up... mids and highs down This piece of crap bass came to life.. I have a POS mid 60's MIJ strat with weak PUPs Same thing, it now has the best slide tone. I use both just for recording.Hope it was OK to post this here....Just to let you know what else these little blue box's can do
