PRE-Amp Tubes VH1 Question

Looking for some tube combinations that would work for VH1 in the preamp sections. I'm trying to find the info on Metro but coming up with nothing on searches. If I remember right, I think I read that having a Tung-Sol 12AX7 in V1 was a popular choice but I couldn't remember the rest of the tubes. Anyone has RALLEs preference? I'm pretty sure he like the EL34s for the power. Anyone out there that can help???

Thanks for the page reference. I'm hoping that he was using the same type of tube when he tried the Plaap specs. Any suggestions on Pre-amp with a 12ax7s mix? Anyone else still stopping by and keeping this forum alive?
