I think it's just a Talk Box.

I really like that solo. Who's doing it?

As far as I know, it's Dean Parks on guitar, with Walter Becker doing the talk-box.

I've never used a talk box, so I can't begin to guess how this works. I imagine the sound could be achieved in other ways, as well; i.e, fuzz/filter/wah, etc. . .

it's just your amp going through a horn driver through a vinyl tube into your mouth basically.
