I just used my wifes student ID card and cut the price in half. The academic version is exactly the same as the retail version with all the same support and upgrades etc., even the box is the same. No difference what so ever! Way cheaper! So if you go to school or know someone who goes to school, have them buy it and save a bundle of cash. I did this with damn near all my DAW software. Saved huge cash!

Wow, that video made my jaw hit the floor...

How well does it work on already mixed stuff? Anyone reharmonize eruption to different scales or something like that? Hee hee.

I assume this is mostly for recycling existing canned samples to spice 'em up for new arrangements. Changing Ice Cream Man to harmonic minor is probably too much to ask. lol

Looks insanely cool though.

That shit is just wrong. Used to be I would listen to recording and think "Wow, I can't believe somedody played that". Now I'll be thinking "Gee, I wonder if the original performance was anywhere what's on the final version"....

but hey Chief, after some time, us real players will be rare & special amongst all the programmers! hehe. neat technology for sure, might as well have this with all the pitch correctors already in use. i used to say the worst thing that ever happened to the electric guitar was the electronic tuner & maybe the locking tremolo.
