Tascam Neo 2488 24 track recorder

I recently purchased one of these for my little home studio.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with one of these, the learning curve with the manual is kicking my ass just a little bit..who writes these manuals, Do they ever read what they put down on paper ???? geeez.....
I guess their is a companion DVD but, I'm going the manual route for now.
but, seems like a great little investment - being able to record up to 8 tracks simultaneously was a big feature for me...
and zero latency issues....8 gig memory.....burn a CD- mastering - all self contained- 24 tracks - no drum machines but, I didn't want that anyway.
Haven't recorded with with it yet but, soon ...very soon .....
anyone ???? Tips ???? Tricks ????? complaints ????? praises ????? .......buehler.....
