Here's some original tunes that I finally got to work on again. I'll probably end up doing them again since I got my amp redone.

What do you guys think?
You can be honest, I can take it.

Needs more cowbell!
Sounds cool man - not the kindof music I'd usually listen to, but for the style that it is, it's good stuff

Listening to "afterthought" Nice vocalist, but could get a better performance from her...........She has a very captivating voice - NICE and SHWEEEET...................
The music has nice playing, but way to much processing, and no detail (compared to the big $$$ signal chains)............
Try to kill the echo, reverb, or whatever you're using........

What is the approval on... guitar tone right?
If it is, is it a Marshall setup of some sort?
I agree that even though you like the reverb in the songs, to me sounds just a little too wet.
On the guitar compensating less reverb with more mids (
shaping) in the mix but
less volume.
Otherewise +1 from Bainzy

Who's the drummer ? He sounds too stiff...

Thanks for the reviews. I truly appreciate it.
I did the drums in Sonar so that's probably as stiff as it gets

.
The guitar tracks were all done through my Marshall and a Digitech 2101 Artist. That was before it got the Metro/Power Scaling/NOS treatment so I'll probably do all the guitar tracks over again.
I do tend to go a little heavy on the reverb when recording. It's a bad habit I have to break myself of.
I always thought that mixing a song was no big deal, hell, anyone could do it. Man, was I wrong. A mixing board is like a whole different instrument that requires the same dedication as guitar or any other instrument. So many nuances, so little time.

Man 'O Man , I can't even express how true 'a statement that is !

If only those fuckin' sound guys would realize their craft I wouldn't be sportin' a unibrow on stage every time I played !

[In my best Elmer Fudd voice] KILL THE SOUNDMAN, KILL THE SOUNDMAN

!
Fortunatly we don't have to deal with a soundman to often at my gigs. I'm the soundman. Live sound is so much more forgiving since nobody's going to hit the rewind button. You'd have to be a complete moron to screw that up, right

?
Lately my drummer is the one causing me to wear a unibrow. I mean seriously, how much beer does one person need to drink in the course of a gig?
