Cool! It's great to see that all the pics that I took made it to the Jedi site! This band rocks! If any of you are local you gotta go see George's band! It's one hell of a "mind trip"!

Here's another pic of George taken from backstage!

Yep, I never wore earplugs all my early days in the late seventies and then bigger was definately better. Just always liked it loud. Ha, I can remember playing through a Marshall 100 watt stack when I was 16yrs old at a VFW. On stage, the top of the amp head almost touched the ceiling and I always played it at "6" or better.
These days I hear a constant ring (they call it) but to me it sounds like what you hear at night camping out. You know, all the crickets and different kinds of bugs making their music. Ha! anyway, remember young ones just getting started; wear those ear plugs, they won't keep you from hearing they will just help block out the frequencies that are more likely to damage your hearing over time.

just my 2cents

By the way; Merry Christmas Everyone!

my country band was told to turn down and after we turned down it was 115db without PA.
I've been using ear plugs for many years now. I got a little tinitus since several years ago, not because of a plexi but because of a dual showman and a jtm60. I've never used an attenuator at a gig. I always get away with diming my amps

Hey Gainfreak, I realize this is an old post but tell me why you don't trust your SE-100?
