It's fine on my PC but if I'm having a quick read on my laptop and don't have the screen exactly square on then that's when I really notice it.

Contrast is an issue on brighter screens, and screens with limited viewing angles for definite.

Personally, I preferred the older colours as it kind of distinguished it from anywhere else, but I have no issues with that really. Just have to squint to distinguish a few things at the moment. I guess it might be finally time for reading glasses.

I definitely like the old version of this forum...

And while we're at it: Everybody has cable or DSL these days, why can't we upload a decent sized picture? The 700 pixel sized limit is bit of joke.

Bring back the old forum look please.

The image size limit applies to images uploaded to, and hosted by, metroamp.com. The dimensional limit is there because:

1. There are already almost 3GB of uploaded files on the server that we host for forum members.
2. Larger image sizes will break the fixed width layout and exceed the most prevalent monitor widths in use.

Most web-savvy users realize that they can upload and link to larger images using a free service like http://imageshack.us" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for image hosting. If you want to share a large amount of hi-res pictures you can always upload them to a file-hosting service like mediafire or mega-upload or one of the many others.

Why do I have to log in to view active topics?

Maybe it's me but I can't seem to send PMs. Everything sticks in the Outbox.

PMs stay in the outbox until the recipient has read them. Then they move to the sent folder.

Not immediately intuitive, I know!

Then one member has about 15 copies of one PM. Sorry :?

Grrrrrr. This damned new format. All my previous pics on here now won't work with the new size limit. And I can't seem to figure out how to resize them once they're already in photobucket.

And I'm buggered if I still got them archived an' all!!!!!!!!!

GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn you, new look forum.

I wish the icons for a sticky thread were a different color or something so that I can more easily ignore them. I know the icon is different, but that would make it easier at a glance to see where new posts begin. I like the old format, but this is the only thing that slightly bothers me about the new.
