Marstran 784-103 Primaries

Post by mwm523 » Mon May 18, 2009 9:37 pm

Black to V4 pin 3 and Red to V5 pin 3?

or...

Red to V4 pin 3 and Black to V5 pin 3?

I don't see a clear answer to this question anywhere on the forum. I see pics of some people's builds, but most of them say "I had to reverse the OT primaries to get rid of the screaming banshee". The problem is I don't know if the pics were taken before or after the reversal...

Anyone have the definitive answer? I'd like to get it right the first time and avoid the banshee entirely. :D

The most common way to wire a kit amp is with Red on V4 and Black on V5.
Patience is a virtue.
