Marstran 784-103 OT vs Metro 784-103 OT

How similar are they? I have the Metro 784-103 in a BBri I rebuilt. This amp Does exactly what I want. Thought about trying the Marstran 784-103 for my JTM45ri rebuild, which now has a Marstran RS OT in it. The RS seems less Marshally to me, more Fendery, for lack of a better word.

I know other factors are involved, but after building the BBri, it has what I was missing in the JTM45ri.

Major differences between builds are.

1. The JTM was rebuilt using Metro ptp board with standard Sozo's, the BBri has the Premium Sozo's on the Metro board.

2. The jtm is housed in a 4x10 combo cab loaded with Weber Silver 10's, the BB is the original 2x12 cab with original ri Greenbacks 6402 cones.

3. The jtm is run with a 16 ohm load the BB at 8 ohms.

4. The jtm has the Marstran RS, the BB the Metro 784-103.

5. The jtm has the Marstran 3H choke, the BB has the Metro 352-114 5H choke.

Both amps retained the stock PT's, tube sockets, chassis and pots. If I go with the Marstran 784-103 can I exspect that same Marshall growl the Metro is giving me? I know I can't go wrong with the Metro, but I really want to try the Marstran.
