yep, it's fried. I was pretty sure, but I've been playing limping OTs for so long now...hooked up the new one, no contest.

Glad you got it fixed.

Now put a big sign on it that reads:

MAKE SURE THE SPEAKER IS PLUGGED IN!!!!! :lol:

ya lol. I wored up the speakers with a bariation on the hiwatt grounding scheme. No speaker - closed circuit. Now that I really know what kind of damage really can and will happen I'd like it's not likely to happen again.
