I recently got some 159Q - 7H @ 150mA - same size and mounting centers as the MM MC10H - but still haven't tried it.

Also the Dagnall clone still haven't tried yet - George, forgive me :oops:

I did love the METRO JTM45/100 tranny set.
WOW :shock:

It's only a matter of time untill I try everything, including your RS tranny clones.

That 159Q is rated up to 500v, so it would be cool for everything except the JTM45/100, and that it's a wider mount.

Knowing Hammond though, it would probably handle 1000 volts for 5 seconds. So 550 is probably no problem. But still I don't take chances like that.

MM, what choke did you end up using in the 12000? & did it sound different? happy new year.

I just use the HTS 7262 or HTS 8425 that George sells.

I think both are the same rating, but the 8425 George sells
looks a little more stout in its wider frame.
They sound the same though.
