older jmp trans and modern replacements question
Hey, I have this 79 50 watter with an obsolete electronics plexi spec ot and I have the original OT from this amp in another amp. These two amps sound better than all the others i have built with regular modern replacements that you get from antique electronics and the like. Is there that much of a difference ? ? ? ? casue these newer amps with the newer ot's just dont sound as sweet. Am i underestimating OT's?

do they truly make that mush of a diff. Im leaning towards yes but have now proof. Only two amps that sound better than the two with newer stock replacement OT's I need more comparison studies or more to chime in and help me. Save me some time and money thanx thanx
