Hello,
I need to replace the output transformer on a Laney Pro-tube lead 100W.
Does anyboby know of a good replacement? I guess a JMP/JCM800 transformer would do it but maybe someone has a better suggestion.
Thanks in advance.

I had an AOR Pro Tube Lead. I blew the OT in it. The guy who fixed it said he replaced it with a JCM 800 OT. It was costly though.
Unless you really really love that amp (They are bad ass. I miss mine), you'd prolly be better off to just buy another one. I think you can still score those around $300 to $500 bucks.

Any ole' 100W transformer will do fine. You're amp is just a Marshall in different clothes so any Marshall or after trans meant for a Marshall is OK (and cheaper than buying a new amp).

The amp is not mine, I'm fixing it for someone who's on a tight budget, like all of us I guess, so a JMP tranny will be the best option.
Thanks for the replies.

I did a rewind on a 100W AOR OT. I think the Dagnall's are made better.
