Heyboer date codes

Post by chubs » Tue Mar 25, 2008 8:03 am

I bought a set of JTM45 Heyboer (sold by Mojo) trannies.

2 things... the code on the white sticker is:
JTM45-HV
99680239

I found this on 18watt.com
The 9960339 is the manufacturer's EIA code(996 is Heyboer), and the last four numbers stand for the date it was made(the 39th week of 2003). markd (RIP)

So this would mean that this tranny is from 2002?? September 22.

I wonder why these do not have the same footprint as ALL the other Heyboer PT's I have bought in the past... this one is about 1/4" shorter and narrower... I have to make the chassis holes a bit larger to fit it in...

Another thing... there are 2 sets of AC primaries - Blk/yel and Blk/Blu how do you figure out which is the 120V Pri?

Thank you all..
