Recently while working on my BBri a piece of a lead, I snipped off, flew and landed on my PT. While trying to retrieve, the lead fell into the PT. Fearing it might short out something I loosened the PT to get the bell cap lifted enough to let the lead fall out.
After I tightened everything up, I've noticed the PT is making an audible vibration. If I press my finger on the bell, the vibration stops. I don't recall if the PT vibrated before I loosened it, it may have. Is this normal? Should I snug the mounting bolts until the vibration ebbs or stops? I don't want to over tighten anything. What is the norm?
I noticed the JTM45 instructions do not specify a torque value or mention vibration issues, so should I be fine?
