While I love the sound of George's demo on youtube for the JTM45 clone, it sounds more aggressive like AC/DC vs the earlier organic, warm crunchy low end tones of early Jimi and the mids are kind of sizzling vs. that cleaner "Hey Joe" or "Wind Cries Mary" breakup. I realize he had the amp dimed so that could account for some of that but just curious which type Output Transformer would get me closest to early Jimi. My existing OT already has that organic tone with a low 390v on the plates but is lacking in fatter mids and has sporadic sustain at different frets even though it's got all the other right stuff with tubes and Sozo caps on the way from George. I have KT66 Pentas biased at 42ma, Sovtec 5AR4 Rectifier and 12AX7 Tung-sol V1, Penta V2, Sovteck LPS V3
